Questions about my fat loss diet?
I'm 24, 5'8" and I weight 128 lbs. I'm mostly skinny, but I've always had a huge beer belly, so I'm now dieting and doing more cardio. My questions are: 1) Is it a good or bad sign when I feel really really hungry and weak? I've read that you should never let yourself go hungry, even on a calorie deficit diet, but I don't see how this is possible. It's so difficult to eat enough food throughout the day and feel satisfied without causing a caloric surplus. So when I feel weak, does that mean that my body is turning to my fat for fuel because it doesn't have enough calories? Or does it just mean that my metabolism is slowing right down and hardly any calories are being burned? It seems like I can't win. 2) How long can I expect it to take before I notice some real reduction in my stomach size (my ultimate goal is to get it totally flat and then work on getting a 6-pack)? My caloric deficit each day is around the 500 mark. My battle to lose weight?
