Could one big meal make you gain weight?
I am on a 300-400 calorie diet, and have been on it for about a month. I'm skinny (for lack of a better word). But today I had to study for exams and ate more than regularly, probably had about 1200 calories (3-4 times what I eat normally). Nothing fried or fatty or sugary. Just fruits and some pho noodles from a viet restaurant. I'm worried this is going to ruin my diet and make me gain weight. Will it? anyone who knows about diet and nutrition please help? I am only writing this because my stomach feels huge, like it's stretched. I feel disgusting. I already feel like I'm getting a double chin or something. I get what you're saying that I will gain weight faster when I get back to my ways. But I DON'T plan to get back to how I used to eat at all. Once I reach the weight I desire, I will gradually increase my calories and continue to eat healthily, and not consume excess calories that become fat. Well obviously there is gonna be other ways to boost your metabolism like exercising and cardio work outs. It's not like its permanent. lol
